When are deliveries made on the Sunshine Coast?
We deliver to the Nambour and Mapleton areas on Thursday
afternoons, with the remainder of deliveries done on Fridays.
Our prime goal is to deliver your fruit and vegies
as quickly as possible after picking and packing.The only way produce
could be fresher is if it came straight out of your own garden !!

Do I need to be home when my order arrives?
No. All orders will be hygienically packed in a styrofoam
esky (to be collected on the next order and recycled for eco purposes)
so that your produce arrives in mint fresh condition. We will leave
your order in a pre-arranged location as you specify when you place
your order on-line or by phone or fax.
How can I be sure that my order will come in
mint fresh condition ?
Because your fruit and vegies will be fresher (grown
locally when possible), because they will be packed soon after picking
and then delivered in a refrigerated van right to your door…
or wherever you advise us to leave it e.g. in the shade near the
front door.
What if I am receiving chicken in my order?
The free range chickens that we supply are prepared
locally, and while we could deliver them to you in frozen condition,
they are MUCH nicer if they are supplied to you fresh so that you
can then put them into your fridge and use them within a few days.
If you need to keep them any longer than 2 or 3 days before use,
then you need to freeze them.
So… if you are ordering chicken, please leave
out an esky with ice-bricks in the pre-arranged location.
Do you re-use the styrofoam esky?
Yes. These eskies cost us $4.80 new and so, to keep
the cost of deliveries down, we ask you to return it to us in good
condition when we deliver your next order. Recycling the boxes has
two benefits. It keeps prices down for our consumers and is part
of our philosophy of eco farming that also reduces the environmental
impact of packaging.
How is it cleaned?
When we retrieve the box from you, we disinfect it
with an organic approved disinfectant, so that your next delivery
is totally clean and hygienic.
Where do I leave the esky for retrieval by Nu-Harvest?
Please make sure that you leave the carton in the
pre-arranged place for your deliveries. When ordering online you
can advise us in the "Comments" dialogue box where your
order should be placed e.g. "on left hand side in the garage"
or "under a shady tree behind gate on right hand side of house"
etc.
